The Beginning of the Mentorship Programme 2018

The lecture held by Ronald Seeliger, Chief Executive Officer of the company Hemofarm marked the beginning of the second year of Mentorship Programme implemented by Hemofarm Foundation. It was also an opportunity for the programme participants to meet their mentors who will lead them through almost a year long programme organized for the best students of medicine, pharmacy and faculties of technology.  

‘It is my pleasure to open the second cycle of Mentorship Programme, which is the best confirmation of our pioneering work last year when we started a series of lectures for young people. Since I come from a dual-education system, I have had an opportunity to see how important the role of mentor is when one’s own potentials are considered. My message for young people is to use their time and mentor’s knowledge in a smart way, to be curious, and also to challenge themselves,’ Ronald Seeliger, CEO of Hemofarm said in the opening address to scholarship holders.

The programme is aimed at boosting capacities of the young, future scientists, pharmaceutical and medical professionals and experts to continue implementing the acquired knowledge in Serbia. Through the Mentorship Programme, Hemofarm Foundation confirms its social responsibility and commitment to help young people in their personal and professional development and creation of closer ties with the Foundation.

‘The Hemofarm Foundation Mentorship Programme brings together the best – our lecturers and students around the topics which are, to express myself using vocabulary of young people – top topics in the world today. This programme is the best incentive and encouragement in their professional development, as it offers them specific knowledge and skills applicable in different professional environments. Scholarship holders are given priority for employment, meaning that by investing in the young the company invests in its own development – thus being aware that the best ones are part of our team’, Suzana Đorđević, Director of Hemofarm Foundation said.

The programme shall last by December 2018 and include individual work of mentors and mentees as well as the first cycle of lectures and trainings delivered by lecturers – experts within the company, some of whom used to be scholarship holders themselves, as well as by guest lecturers.
