A Certificate of Appreciation of the Faculty of Philosophy for Promoting the Significance of Mental Health in Serbia
At the ceremony of celebrating the jubilee of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Belgrade University, 215 years since the establishment of the Great School and 185 years since the establishment of the Lyceum, dean prof. Daniel Sinani, Ph.D., presented a certificate of appreciation to the Hemofarm Foundation for long-term successful cooperation. It is stated in the explanation that the certificate of appreciation is presented for ‘a special contribution to joint work on promoting the importance of mental health in Serbia’.
‘I am very proud of this recognition because it comes from an institution that has always been a beacon in the community and whose public actions are marked by the struggle for a more decent, freer and better society that nurtures critical thought. Our partnership with the Faculty of Philosophy dates back to 2019 when we started the project ‘A Cup of Coffee with a Psychologist’ with the aim of educating the public to take care of the mental health in the same way as of the physical health and that there is a solution for all problems if professional help is sought on time, and it continued with cooperation on the campaign for fighting depression and stigma ‘Unbreakable’. Both projects very quickly gained the support of the public and they are considered leading ones in the field of mental health prevention’, said Suzana Đorđević, Director of the Hemofarm Foundation.
