Hemofarm Foundation Scholarship Competition YOU CAN DO IT

The best final-year students or those who enrolled in the master studies at state-owned faculties (Medicine, Pharmacy, Technology, Chemistry or Faculty of Physical Chemistry) have the opportunity to apply for scholarships of Hemofarm Foundation as of today. The competition is open until 4 November for students of state universities in Serbia who have the average grade of at least 8.50 and poor financial status.

Future scholarship holders of HEMOFARM Foundation in the school year 2019/2020 will have the opportunity to be a part of Mentorship and Internship program of professional practice YOU CAN DO IT and to improve their knowledge and skills necessary for further personal and professional development in contact with experts from Hemofarm and STADA Group. Apart from informal knowledge, program attendants supported by company experts, also gain work experience in various sectors and additional motive to apply the acquired knowledge in Serbia. The program also aims to empower individuals with skills that will help them in their day-to-day work, focusing primarily on caring for people's health and welfare of community.

“We have been investing in education of young people for 26 years, developing their leadership skills and practical knowledge. To date, we have supported 3480 individuals, many of whom became our colleagues. We believe this program is a real opportunity for students who want to become leaders in their communities and work for the common good because it is designed to develop long-lasting relationships among future leaders and motivate them to work together in order to meet the challenges of the modern times. We are proud of the fact that, among our scholarship holders, there are those who currently work in some of the world's most prestigious laboratories – MIT, and are engaged in research focused on discovering cure for some of the most serious diseases of today”, said Suzana Đorđević, director of Hemofarm Foundation.

The Hemofarm Foundation’s YOU CAN DO IT program for education has been supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia and the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Technology and Metallurgy, Chemistry and Physical Chemistry of the Universities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Niš. Parts of the program are implemented in partnership with the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Konrad Adenauer foundation.
