The Center for International Private Enterprise (
CIPE) and
AmChams in Europe have included the Hemofarm Foundation's 'Unbreakable' campaign for the improvement of mental health among the eight most important initiatives in Southeastern Europe (SEE) in 2021 for "promoting trust in business" and doing business in accordance with the environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.
More than 30 companies and organizations from 10 countries submitted their projects this year to the 'Promoting Trust in Business Initiative’ founded by CIPE and AmChams in Europe.
In addition to Hemofarm and the 'Unbreakable' campaign, the initiatives assessed as the most important ones, representing best examples of companies operating in SEE in terms of applying the ESG standards in practice and improving operations with the aim to build trust in local communities, are: Amcham Slovenia – Partnership for Change, Dewesoft – Entrepreneurial Incubator Katapult, Ekopak - Development of Packaging Waste Recycling System, EVN inc – Popularization and Enabling of E-mobility, McDonald’s Ukraine – Packaging and Recycling Campaign, Pivara Skopje – The Sustainability Initiative World Without Waste, Prevent CEE - Prevent Fabrics.
All eight projects have been presented in an
online brochure of the Trust in Business Initiative and at the online event, which was also attended by Ronald Seeliger, CEO of Hemofarm company.
‘For 28 years already, Hemofarm Foundation has been raising the topics that are important for our society – they are not always pleasant, but they are significant for the well-being of us all. We are proud to have initiated the ‘Unbreakable’ campaign and that we have the opportunity as a company to provide support to people in need. Caring for people's health as a trusted partner is the ground base of our work, and through the current campaign of the Foundation, we want to help everyone who feels difficulties in the domain of mental health’, said Seeliger.

Hemofarm Foundation launched the ‘Unbreakable’ campaign in cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy of the Belgrade University, with support from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia. So far, more than 700,000 people joined the ‘Unbreakable’ anti-depression movement, while experts from four special hospitals for psychiatric diseases operate the SOS line 0800 001 002 for fighting against depression, and up to now, more than 6,500 persons reached out to them for support.
