We joined the sales of 100th jubilee issue of LiceUlice magazine
A better world is possible! This message becomes reality when we decide to act in accordance with the values of solidarity, humanity, and togetherness.
Hemofarm Foundation and its scholarship holders joined the sales of 100th issue of LiceULice magazine and thus supported the network of street vendors, pointing out that solidarity is the course we should follow and that we all need security, especially those who have never had it.

Safety and security are basic needs of each individual and they are of great importance for life, freedom, and personal integrity, yet there are people who are deprived of that key aspect of social and economic wellbeing.

‘I am exceptionally grateful for having had the opportunity to participate in this initiative. In this short street action, I have realised the hardships the marginalised groups are facing and this made me wish to contribute more towards their inclusion. From now on, I will start each month by buying a LiceUlice magazine’, said Maša Čežek, our scholarship holder and a student of the Belgrade University Faculty of Pharmacy, after the action of street sale of LiceUlice magazine.
‘The action was unusual and unique – a new and interesting experience! I am glad to have participated in it and for having had the opportunity to collaborate with the street vendors, as well as with Maša and the Hemofarm Foundation team. We had an opportunity to see Belgrade from a completely different perspective – the perspective of those from whom people usually turn their heads away, and to look into the environment in which we live. This action has revived the hope in me that anyone can contribute towards us becoming a more humane and more solidary society’, said Momčilo Adamović, Hemofarm Foundation scholarship holder and student of the Belgrade University Faculty of Biology, regarding his participation in the action.
For 14 years already, LiceUlice has offered immediate support to marginalised groups, with the aim of their higher social and economic involvement in a society we would all like to live in. In accordance with the mission of Hemofarm Foundation and Hemofarm AD – Caring for People’s Health, we joined the action of street sale of 100th issue of the magazine in order to draw attention again on the difficult position of those for whom finding a job is next to impossible, those socioeconomically challenged individuals. Our wish was to support them and make them visible to the general public, hoping to inspire others as well to join us in the actions to come.

When you see the vendors in the streets, support them by buying their magazine! You will thus demonstrate your humanity and empathy and also provide yourself a quality read on social and environmental issues and solutions, since as they say – a better world is possible!

We are devoted to care for people and community and we believe that the road to a better society must be initiated by ourselves – through care of ourselves and others and our environment. ‘We are happy to have had the opportunity to support and encourage the street vendors, thus having promoted the sale of 100th issue of LiceUlice magazine, which helped many of them have a peaceful weekend and a short break from street vending and work. We continue helping where help is most needed!’, is the message of the Hemofarm Foundation team after the successful action with LiceUlice vendors.
Through the People to People action, the employees of Hemofarm A.D. and Hemofarm Foundation take part in supporting the socially challenged categories of the society. We have donated blood, and collected humanitarian aid, including food, clothes, blankets, and materials. Among other, we have collected aid for NURDOR, Shelter for Street Children, Shelter for Adults and Seniors in Kumodraška Street, organised the Cap for Handicap action and many others.
We are always here for people, ready to help – WHOLEHEARTEDLY!
