Four BalCannes Awards for Hemofarm Foundation and The Most Important Call
The campaign „The Most Important Call in Life“, launched by Hemofarm Foundation is the winner of four awards at the regional creativity festival „BalCannes“ in Rovinj - Grand Prix for the best socially responsible project of the year, Grand Prix for the best advertiser of the year and two gold awards in the category "Health and Pharmacy" and "Care of Community".
„The Most Important Call in Life“ is one of the most recognizable projects launched by the Hemofarm Foundation together with its founder, the Hemofarm Group, with the support of the Ministry of Health of Serbia, the Republic Health Insurance Fund and the patient association Zajedno za novi život (Together for New Life), whose goal is to increase the number of donors and transplants in Serbia.
"This is not just another of our projects, but a personal mission of each of us in Hemofarm Foundation and Hemofarm Group the goal of which is to raise awareness about the importance of donorship and adoption of a new law which means a new life for all those who are awaiting transplantation. The campaign we launched in 2016 increased the number of donors from 2 to 6 per million inhabitants, while the 2023 project managed to raise the number of transplants to 32, unlike the period when, due to COVID-19, there were almost no donors or transplantation," said Suzana Đorđević, director of the Hemofarm Foundation, and added that "Hemofarm Group and its Foundation continue to deal with this topic until a system is established in which people whose lives are in danger will not wait a long time for a donor and a transplantation."
„The Most Important Call in Life“, the campaign that Hemofarm Foundation implements in cooperation with the agency "Jazavac i utorak", has been so far awarded 22 times at the regional and national festivals of creativity and it has been declared the campaign of the year, while Hemofarm Foundation was awarded more than 60 times for its socially responsible work in the field of health in the last 10 years.
