Hemofarm Foundation Opens Scholarship Competition for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Hemofarm Foundation is announcing a call for applications for 10 scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year, inviting outstanding final-year students of undergraduate and integrated academic studies at state universities in Serbia to apply. The competition is open to students of medical, pharmaceutical, technological, chemical, and technical faculties (electrical engineering and mechanical engineering), with an average grade of at least 8.50. In addition to academic excellence, preference will be given to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
The scholarships are part of the You Can Do It Program for Education, carried out by the Foundation for 32 years already. The program includes mentoring support, practical work experience, and opportunities to build a professional network essential for the first steps in a career.
“So far, nearly 4,000 young people have been part of this program, gaining the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality, vision into action, develop skills, expand networks, and learn from the best in the pharmaceutical industry – as well as from each other,” says Ivana Minović, Coordinator of the Program for Education at Hemofarm Foundation. She adds that “many of the program participants are now leading teams and companies, educating new generations, or are engaged in scientific research focused on well-being of people, the community, and the planet.”
Anđela Postolović, a Hemofarm Foundation scholarship holder in academic year 2018/2019. Today, she is employed in our company and works as the Quality Assurance Manager of the Cluster West Operations of the STADA Group. “As a pharmacy student, I was looking for a scholarship that offered more than financial support – one that provided mentorship and professional practice. That’s exactly what I found through the Hemofarm Foundation scholarship in 2019. The program gave me much more than technical knowledge – it taught me the importance of integrity, timely communication, teamwork, and mutual support. I’m grateful to my mentors and colleagues who believed in me and showed me that a culture of trust and learning makes every organization stronger. I would encourage all eligible students to apply and become part of this unique program that offers a true opportunity for professional growth and development,” said Anđela.
For Dragana Grahovac, a Hemofarm Foundation scholarship holder in 2023/2024 who recently graduated from Cambridge in the field of Micro- and Nanotechnology and is now a PhD student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), the experience from the program was equally significant both personally and professionally. “Curiosity has brought me to everything I am today. The Hemofarm Foundation program showed me how important mentors and soft skills are for every career. The most valuable thing I take from that time is the people and the sense of belonging to a community that encourages growth."
During the one-year program, the future Hemofarm Foundation scholarship holders will work with experts from Hemofarm, a member of the German STADA Group, acquiring practical knowledge, skills, and professional experience essential for personal and professional development. In addition to the scholarship, the program includes mentorship, lectures, and internship at Hemofarm and is conducted on a quarterly basis. Upon completing the program, participants receive a certificate of successful training completion.
The scholarship competition will be open from 10th November to 1st December 2025. Detailed information on eligibility criteria and application procedures is available on the Hemofarm Foundation’s website and social media channels.
