More Than a Scholarship: Hemofarm Foundation Introduces the 33rd Generation of Young Leaders
Continuing a tradition of more than three decades of systematic investment in youth and education, the Hemofarm Foundation has introduced the 33rd generation of scholarship recipients for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Ten exceptional final-year students of undergraduate and integrated academic programs at public universities in Serbia, from faculties of medicine, pharmacy, technology, chemistry, and engineering, have gained an opportunity to develop their personal and professional competencies through mentorship support, as well as to acquire valuable practical experience working in a multinational environment with modern, state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
’Investing in young people is not just a matter of social responsibility. It is a strategic necessity for any society that aims to grow and progress. Through the You Can Do It education program, we continuously build a bridge between education and internship, providing young people with the knowledge, experience, and confidence necessary for their first professional steps. We are proud of this new generation of scholarship recipients and believe they will be the drivers of change contributing to public health, community development, and a sustainable future,’ said Ronald Seeliger, CEO of Hemofarm.
Suzana Đorđević, Director of the Hemofarm Foundation, emphasized the Foundation’s long-term commitment to developing young talents: ’Each generation of scholarship recipients brings new energy, curiosity, and a strong desire to contribute to society through their knowledge. Today, as we welcome the 33rd generation of young people, I am confident that these brilliant and determined young leaders will shape our future, using their knowledge and actions to drive positive change in society.’
Over the past decades, the You Can Do It program has supported nearly 4,000 young people and has grown into a recognized platform that enables students to connect with experienced professionals from the pharmaceutical industry, enhance their skills and knowledge, and gain invaluable practical experience that forms a strong foundation for their further personal and professional development.
It is precisely this approach that gives the program its broader significance and long-term impact. Through this initiative, the Hemofarm Foundation not only builds careers but also strengthens society, empowering young professionals to become catalysts of change and active contributors to a healthier and more sustainable future.
