Representatives of Hemofarm company and Hemofarm Foundation, SEEU Cluster Warehouse Manager Monika Ostojić, Talent Management Associate Ivana Jovanović and Project Manager Milica Laufer visited the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy (TMF) as part of the "On a First Name Basis with the Company" initiative, presented our company and working directly with the students, held a simulation of a job interview.
The initiative called "On a First Name Basis with the Company" arose from the students’ need to learn about the employment process, writing a professional resume, job interviews and getting the first professional opportunity.
This interactive workshop was held on Saturday, June 4, upon the proposal of the Association of Students of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, where representatives of companies and students of master and final study years of this faculty met.
Monika Ostojić presented to students, professors and representatives of other companies the cooperation with the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, which she has been successfully developing for years. The project refers to the implementation of new programs in official study curriculum, which are important for our company. She also presented the work and structure of our company and presented the capacities and interest of Hemofarm to employ and hire young professionals.
„This project has been running since 2017, and a dozen of students of advanced course have already been employed in Hemofarm and higher level of pharmaceutical processes knowledge is noticeable at the beginning of work, understanding of our business, as well as faster adoption of new lessons the result of which is that associates become independent more efficiently. In this way we demonstrated that Hemofarm has been on a ‘first name basis’ with TMF for a long time already. This project has opened the door to many other forms of cooperation, which is the clear message to the attendees, primarily the students, how solid is the bond between these two institutions”, said Monika on this occasion.
Ivana Jovanović held a very dynamic workshop with the group of students about how to present themselves the best they can at the job interview. She encouraged them not to give up their values when looking for a job and gave them precise instructions on how to get better acquainted with the profile of the company to which they are applying.
Apart from cordial gathering ‘on a first name basis’, the students got the answers to numerous questions referring to their first jobs, and the companies had a chance to be at the source from which they have the precious opportunity to recruit their technological young new hires. Apart from Hemofarm, the project was supported also by the following participating companies: Tigar (Michelin), Galeb Group, Ball Packaging Europe, Bambi and Imlek.
