A Beginning to Remember. People We Believe In.
Hemofarm Foundation organized a Welcome Day for the scholarship recipients of the 2025/26 generation within the Education Program You Can Do It, symbolically marking the beginning of their professional and personal development journey within a community that has been systematically investing in young people and their education for more than three decades.
During the program, scholarship recipients had the opportunity to get acquainted with the values and vision of Hemofarm and the Foundation, to hear the experiences of the previous generation, and to engage in conversations with leaders who shape the company’s culture and values.
In her opening speech,
Suzana Đorđević, Director of Hemofarm Foundation, emphasized that a scholarship is not merely a reward for achievements, but an expression of trust and a call to responsibility.
“Standing at the threshold of your careers, you are entering a path where knowledge carries responsibility, responsibility builds trust, and trust safeguards people’s health. We can teach you skills, we can explain systems, but integrity, professional attitude, and humanity are personal choices you make every day. And those choices make a difference. The difference between what is easy and what is right,” said
Đorđević, encouraging scholarship recipients to choose integrity over shortcuts, responsibility over silence, and to choose to be people who are trusted, because through such choices, they will not only shape their own futures, but also strengthen the system that protects us all.

A special segment of the program was dedicated to the experiences of scholarship recipients from the previous generation, who openly shared their personal insights with the new cohort about mentorship, professional development, and the strength of the community built through the You Can Do It program.
Jovana Ristić, Aleksandar Milenković, Luka Petrović, Katarina Filipović, Ivana Galonja, and Nikolina Toskić spoke from personal experience, honestly and warmly, with a touch of humor and healthy “competition“ – each smilingly pointing out that their mentor was the best. The conversation naturally grew into a friendly intergenerational exchange, filled with energy and smiles that filled the Atrium hall, where the welcome for the new generation of scholarship recipients took place.

The arrival and conversation with
Ronald Seeliger, CEO of Hemofarm, were especially anticipated. In an informal setting, he shared some of the most important moments of his career journey with the scholarship recipients.
“Careers are not built all at once, but step by step. In the healthcare industry, there are no shortcuts – ethics, quality, and trust are the foundations of long-term success,” Zeliger stated, adding that investing in young people represents a mutual commitment of both the company and the individual.

In the continuation of the program, Marija Vasić, Culture and People Director, Western Balkans Region, Hemofarm, presented the values that Hemofarm and the Foundation live in practice – integrity, agility, entrepreneurship, and togetherness – through the message of One STADA. Special emphasis was placed on lifelong learning as a key investment in career development, the responsible use of digital and AI tools, and the importance of ethical thinking in an industry that directly impacts people’s health.

In the period ahead, the 33rd generation of Hemofarm Foundation scholarship recipients will be introduced to their mentors, who will guide and support them over the course of ten months through their first professional steps, via work on concrete tasks, knowledge exchange, and continuous support.
The evening concluded in an informal atmosphere, with a clear message that the You Can Do It program represents more than a scholarship – it is a space for growth, learning, and decision-making with long-term impact on individuals, the community, and the healthcare system as a whole.
